In the inaugural season, Rob Saunders claimed the very first MVP title, powering the Bears to a historic Persimmon Cup victory. No Rookie of the Year was awarded in this debut season.
In our second Cup Justin Gensler delivered a dominant performance, racking up 14.25 points and leading the Sharks to a commanding win.
Rob Bubb made a strong entrance, earning 10 points in his first Cup appearance. Despite his efforts, it wasn’t enough to overcome the Sharks.
Our third season crowned our first-ever MVP/Rookie of the Year double winner – Tyler Mott. He was unstoppable, earning 15 points and driving the Bears to a blowout victory.
Brendan Ohren was a wrecking ball all weekend, crushing his matchups for 11.75 points. He became the first MVP not to be on the winning team, giving the Sharks everything he had in a valiant but unsuccessful push.
In a first for the Cup, Chris Warren tied for ROY honors with 11 points in an outstanding debut. Later, as captain in 2024, he guided his team to a dominant victory.
Pete Goodwin, alongside Chris Warren, delivered an incredible rookie campaign. Matching Chris with 11 points, he made an immediate impact and left his mark on the Cup.
Ryan Koerner became only the second player in Cup history to claim both MVP and ROY honors in the same season. His stellar debut brought in 13.25 points, but like Brendan Ohren before him, his team fell short despite his outstanding performance.
