See below for a recap of the 2025 Cup!
Everything you need to know about the Cup, all in one spot!
Under captains Ryan Koerner (Sharks) and Tyler Bain (Bears), the 2025 Persimmon Cup delivered a little bit of everything—fast starts, momentum swings, and a wire-to-wire finish from a team that caught fire at the right time.
Round 1 belonged to the Bears, who came out blazing and doubled up the Sharks to seize early control. By the end of the afternoon Scramble (Round 2), though, the Sharks had found their footing and started their run.
Round 3 proved to be the turning point. The Sharks landed the haymaker, outscoring the Bears 21–6 and flipping the Cup on its head. They kept the pressure on in Round 4, extending the lead and forcing the Bears into must-win territory.
Heading into Sunday Singles, it was going to take a monumental rally for the Bears. They made a push, but the Sharks still won the day by one, locking in a comprehensive victory:
Final: Sharks 113 – Bears 91.25
Congrats to Koerner and the Sharks on a complete team performance, and hats off to Bain and the Bears for setting the tone early and battling to the end. See you at the next one.
